Membership and verification

Collector membership begins at 50,000 points; Prestige begins at 500,000 points. The purchase that reaches a threshold must be delivered and its return period must have ended before the new level takes effect. Your status reflects verified purchase records, with updates confirmed in My Collection.

Points are calculated on the net price of original artworks, at 1 point per US$1. Shipping, insurance, duties and taxes are excluded. Registering an account or earning fewer than 50,000 points does not grant membership. Membership is linked to your purchasing account and cannot be transferred. There is no membership fee or application.

Currency, returns and refunds

A foreign-currency purchase uses the USD equivalent recorded at the original sale. Later exchange-rate movements do not change your points.

Returns and refunds reduce your membership points using the original transaction's recorded USD equivalent. If your total falls below 500,000 points, Prestige status changes to Collector while the 50,000-point threshold is still met. Below 50,000 points, membership ends. My Collection confirms the status supported by your verified records.

What every buyer receives

Every sold artwork comes with a Motri certificate and digital artwork files: purchase documentation, artwork photographs and any provenance or archive documents supplied with the work. These are part of standard delivery for every buyer, including purchases below the membership threshold.

Collection reviews and annual record summaries bring together existing information and curatorial guidance. They do not include valuations or promises about future value.

Previews, holds and sourcing

Prestige first refusal applies to new works handled by Motri from artists the member already collects. Its seven-day period comes before the seven-day Collector preview and the public release. Collector courtesy holds cover up to two works concurrently for seven days each.

For artwork sourcing, share the artist, subject and budget you have in mind. Motri searches its existing contacts and reports progress within 14 days for Collector or seven days for Prestige. A sourcing request does not guarantee that a matching work will be found.

Prestige delivery and coordination

For artworks purchased after Prestige activation, worldwide standard delivery to your address and full transit insurance are included. The buyer remains responsible for destination duties and taxes. Oversized works, special packaging, white-glove delivery and other nonstandard services are quoted separately.

Acquisition coordination covers payment arrangements, logistics and insurance through delivery, without a coordination fee. Any chargeable nonstandard services are confirmed in your quotation.
